Yellowstone National Park : From a too-short 4-day trip during June. I actually stayed at Grand Teton, but filled a day and a half cavorting around Yellowstone. Yellowstone is crazy. I'll be back in the fall to capture the elk rut, and hit some of the thermal features at sunrise and sunset instead of during the middle of the day.

Yellowstone and Grand Teton Wildlife : From my first visit to the area, I saw tons of elk and bison, some pronghorn antelope, and a single black and grizzly bear. I also saw a coyote and several deer but don't have any photos of them. I did not see any wolves or moose, maybe next time.

Your Bio

I bought my first digital camera, and my first SLR, at the same time: May 2005. Since then, I've added several lenses, filters, and other accessories, all while miraculously managing not to go bankrupt, though I'm getting closer.

I still don't know what I'm doing - that part comes later. At least it better.

And one final note... there's way too many photos on here. At some point in the future there will be a great purge, and I should be more selective with new photos, but it usually takes me a few weeks after I upload before I finally decide which ones I prefer, and by then, I'm out shooting other photos and neglecting to clean up after myself.
